Day 1:
Your guide will meet you on arrival in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport. Travel via Middelburg, Lydenburg and “Robbers Pass” to Hazyview situated in the province of Mpumalanga.Visit the old gold rush town of Pilgrim’s Rest a museum in its entirety. Depending on availability - Enjoy some African culture with singing, dancing and dinner at Shangana, a traditional Shangaan village, meet the chief with his 3 wives and 36 children. Overnight in Hazyview.
Accommodation: Hippo Hollow Country Estate *** (D)

Day 2:
Travel the “Panorama Route” of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, admire the natural beauty of God’s Window, Bourke`s Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon, which is the third deepest canyon in the world. Then it is off to the world-renowned Kruger National Park (KNP), enter the park through Orpen Gate. Enjoy the rest of the day in the KNP, dinner at the camps restaurant. Overnight in the KNP.

Day 3:
Enjoy a full day in the KNP in search of the “Big 5” and a host of other animals. Travel to the southern section of the KNP. Dinner will be a traditional “braai” - barbeque, prepared by your guide. Overnight in the park.
Accommodation: Lower Sabie Camp *** (B & D)

Other activities: Evening or sunset game drive with the parks ranger.

Day 4:
Return to Johannesburg the commercial hub of South Africa. Township tour of Soweto - reflex on the “Apartheid”era of South Africa’s history. There will also be time for last minute shopping before your departure.
